Group Texting is a text messaging platform that allows users to create an account online, upload a list of phone numbers, and begin texting their contacts in minutes. While most text messaging companies offer texting from a 6-digit phone number, this brand is unique in that it allows users to send text messages from a full-length, 10-digit phone number, which appeals to our non-profit and other 'special interest' industries. As Product Marketing Manager, I led the Group Texting website project from conceptualization to launch, collaborating with our Product, Design and Development teams.

I created two tools for the site: a Plan Calculator and a Virtual Consultant. The Plan Calculator allowed users to estimate their cost or receive a recommendation for which plan to purchase based on their estimated text messaging needs. The Virtual Consultant is a 3-step tool that provided customers with a customized and downloadable "Getting Started" guide, based on their answers to 2 simple questions about who they wanted to text and how they intended to reach their audience. I conceptualized the design for the Virtual Consultant and wrote the logic for the tool's functionality.

I also served as the Copywriter for the website and guided the voice and tone of EZ Texting's five sub-brands, each created to target their particular audiences. For Group Texting's business audience of non-profits and 21+ industries (e.g. adult, tobacco and alcohol), the tone needed to be down-to-earth and straightforward but laid-back and patient.
