Spark My Mission was a 60-day engagement campaign and contest I conceptualized and produced as part of the larger FUEL campaign. It involved social and digital elements, utilizing CallFire's telecom technology to create brand awareness. We invited our followers and customers to tell us about their "mission," offering a $5,000 sponsorship to one lucky winner to help them get their passion project off the ground.
The contest utilized and promoted CallFire's 'Polling and Voting' features by inviting followers to text-to-vote for their favorite contestants. Spark My Mission maintained audience engagement for FUEL followers whenever there were gaps in coverage of the 'Call to Everest' campaign, exciting them about what would come next and leaving them with the question (and the campaign's theme): "What's your mission?" Followers submitted their entries online and would be narrowed down to 10 finalists, who were then required to participate in a video interview via webcam. Campaign followers used these videos to vote for the winner, whose story was featured as part of the campaign.
I collaborated with our legal team to develop the contest and write our Official Rules, worked with our Design team and managed our FUEL website to present the contest, promoted the contest in collaboration with our PR team, and conducted webcam interviews of our 10 finalists. Followers voted for their favorite finalist video via text message, powered by CallFire.
